A warm welcome in Whitby

On arrival, the host greeted us with genuine friendliness, immediately making us feel at home. The room was large, super clean, and very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep.

no complaint, i enjoyed this place, recommend. everything was great, the parking was on street, the room was spotless and en suite. the incredible location was very close to whitby lighthouse. the breakfast was enormous, the check in was early. plus their wifi was good.

Couldn't stay longer.

The bed was comfortable and clean.

The shower took an eternity to warm up, frustrating. There were no essentials in the room, not even a kettle or complimentary tea and coffee. The room felt cramped without any space for chairs or room to put wet towels to dry, made everything uncomfortable.

I asked for double room and it was nicely furnished and brand-new with comfy bed. The hotel was placed in the very central location so near everything.

A little clarity in check-in instructions would be ideal!!! Elevating convenience with designated parking information could enhance the experience!!! Adding basic shower products would be a thoughtful touch!!!

Is it really that good? My take

This place exceeded my expectations! Great location, just a short stroll to the bustling town, with wonderful communication from the staff. Super clean rooms and ultra-comfy beds.

Finding designated parking was a bit tricky, and check-in instructions could have been clearer. More clarity would really enhance the overall experience.

I suppose staying here was alright if you enjoy cramped rooms without even a kettle, forget tea or coffee. The shower took ages to warm up, just splendid when you want to get ready fast. Honestly, i was half expecting a complimentary upgrade for enduring this. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

This place was amazin! Super friendly owners who helped us with parking. Location is just perfect, only a short walk to town and everything is clean and comfy. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the room was really spacious. Defo would stay here again!

The electric kettle was handy for a cuppa. The private bathroom had a shower and hairdryer. Towels were fresh, and the wardrobe was spacious. Just a 5-minute stroll to the town, super convenient!

Hudson's offered a cozy experience with a clean, spacious double room featuring a comfortable king-size bed. I adored the short stroll to Whitby’s vibrant center, which perfectly complemented my marine exploration. Though lacking a kettle, the warm hospitality made our stay enjoyable.

The room had central heating, an iron/ironing board, and a TV set, and a very comfy bed. Enormous breakfast with a lot of food. Nice staff. Great setting really close to the harbour. A great outdoor cafe and restaurants.
